Dirty Little Secrets

November 23, 2008

We all keep secrets. Who doesn’t ? Everyone has one.

The thing about secrets are.. we secretly want people to know.

The words enticed me to flashbacks of bugis and the extra payment.Me and my reflections on the walls of the hotel lobby. And my eyes flowed downwards to these pictures Two Singaporean actors get cast in Ang Lees latest Hollywood offering, playing intimately opposite each other. They check into the budget hotel room to discover chemistry or the lack of it!

At first Look, I’d see a young ,newly-wed couple on their honeymoon.Finding themselves in an argument.

But of course , no play would be as simple. “REAL ACTORS” By Ken Kwek(featuring Timothy Nga and Joanna Dong) is a story of Two Singaporean actors who got casted in Ang Lee’s latest Hollywood offering, playing intimately opposite each other. They check into the budget hotel room to discover “chemistry” or the lack of it!

DUET by Eleanor Wong ::Karen Lim & Serene Chan:: Two old friends,a whole lot of baggage, some great songs and that point in a woman’s life when she doesn’t know if she’s coming or going.

BRUNCH by Kelvin Tong ::Dan Jenkins &  Janice Koh::Two strangers share a common denominator – their spouses are having an affair with each other. They meet in the budget hotel room to sabotage their cheating spouses. But who sabotages whom? And just when you least expect it, new discoveries change our lives forever.

We all know what this speakture (picture which speaks or has a msg) is all about. Its all too familiar to me. The young man in the corner, hand on his knees. Not so much a fetal position but close. As his hands hold on to his legs, his eyes in the direction of this Man.I see a boy, fearful of himself and not so much the man on the bed.

i looked at you
for guidance
but you were
a devil instead

you got it wrong
and gave me a hand
what i meant was no
you didn’t understand

the tragedy began for me
i suffer in silence
crying tears no one could see
i didn’t want violence

so i didn’t rebel
and i let’em do
what he wanted to
i was touched…

TEACHER’S DAY by Kaylene Tan ::K Rajagopal & HADRI:: A teacher and his male student in a budget hotel room. Who’s teaching whom and what lessons can we learn today?

Beautiful stories waiting to be heard. But here is the catch. Ir’s rated R(A) 18 years  & above.I‘m 17years old..Adult prices are $35 and student, nsf or senior cits concession prices are &30.I obviously can’t use the srudent price. So i’d get the adult price and walk in :D .Lets hope and pray that they don’t check me at the door.On a serious note,I want to watch this production not cause it’s just any production. But the PRIME production I want to catch “TEACHER’S DAY”.But of course, I truly would like to go for all the shows. So,I’l try my luck for the tickets and I’d walk in with a beard and a trenchcoat.

DUET & REAL ACTORS  18(8pm),19(8pm),20(3pm) DEC

BRUNCH & TEACHER’S DAY 20(8pm),21(3pm &8pm) DEC

Signing out and singing away, your one and only,

A short chill

November 17, 2008

The cold showers drenching my skin. The numbness makes me wanna scream in silence. The warm tears from my eyes is all that I could really feel. And my knees go weak. The pain of my heart ,reaching the scrotum. As the beads of water splash against my now cold skin.It feels so right. This disturbs me.

Drunken Eyes Shall not be entertained,
Folded arms symbolize constrain.
Cross fingers are nothing new,
Its similar to telling lies too.

I found Ryein washed up on the beach. It looked so nice and smelled so sweet.I brought it home and made it mine.I looked and studied and knew.I was falling in love with this Ryein. Its spell now cast and my addiction now grew.I spoke to it everynight though it may not reply.

I lived for the Ryein.I was a slave to it.It made me do things I’d regret. It was my choice to follow the Ryein but it was the Ryein who deceived me from the start.

Some people , pronounce W like double – U.

eg..

“Uncle can send me to woodlands?” = “uncle can send me to uudlands?”

etc…

hahaahahaha

so productive in the early morning.

Betrayal is a very  very disgusting thing. So sly and sneaky, constantly in hiding.

“We have to distrust each other. It is our only defense against betrayal.”

“Love is whatever you can still betray. Betrayal can only happen if you love.”

So

Ajuana for president.

“My life was running me and not the other way.” :- some lady on Oprah who lost A LOT of weight.

I wish my brother was 4. He would be so much more cuter. And less iritating.Maybe not less iritating. But still cute.

when i was a kid.I’d do things to make my parents carry me.I didn’t want to bug them or burdened them.I just wanted to be closer.Feel safer.
